Horse of the Year - 53 Years
In 2022 the Barastoc Horse of the Year show will celebrate a 53 year partnership between Equestrian Victoria and ‘Barastoc’ Ridley Agriproducts horse feed supplier. The name Barastoc came from ‘Balanced Rations for Stock’. The archived results of 50 years of Barastoc include some of the best performed show horses and show jumpers in Australia and is testimony to this iconic show. From its origins as a three-class competition, the Horse of the Year Show has matured into a prestigious and vibrant event.
